GABI Exhibits Sustainable Fashion at African Sustainable Fashion Show | Afro SFI 2023 | Sustainable Fashion in Cameroon GABI is a Cameroonian fashion brand founded by Ebai Brinsly. The fashion brand is a participant of the Afro-Sustainable Fashion Initiative, which is promoting the Training-Empowerment-Promotion (TEP) approach to sustainable fashion. GABI was a major participant in the maiden edition of the Afro-Sustainable Fashion Show in Limbe on January 23rd, 2023, under the theme “Reducing Fashion’s Ocean Plastic Pollution”. GABI is a promoter of sustainable fashion, educating trainees in the fashion brand as well as other fashion designers on the dangers of plastics in fabrics and how to creatively redesign waste plastic-based fabrics into gorgeous outfits.
